dah lunch semua? :) i hope you have, because aku pun dah lunch and soo mengantok sekarang hehe :) tengah lunch tadi aku baca Star newspaper today and came across this interesting topic (for me). and yes, it is about whether female or male are safer drivers. i think it is better for all of you to read it yourself in here, Starnews :)

my friends are all aware that i'm a driver, and i drove to class everyday. and it means that the tense is multiple la! :DD haha because i have to deal with all these crazy drivers along the way to class, especially guys :P
nope nope, i'm not being bias just because i am a woman, but i experienced it myself. although my friends always thought of me as one of the bad drivers ( T_T sampai hati korang ) but you didn't see anything yet. walaupun perjalanan aku drive ke kelas amek masa around 15-20 minutes, rasa macam dah setengah jam dalam kereta tuh. because of the road rage yang aku kena hadapi everyday. lagi-lagi motorcyclist which the majority were GUYS, and also car drivers which mostly yang buli aku were GUYS.
aku percaya yang most of the guys think that women are slow drivers, that is women memang cautious when they're on the road. it is true, but it shows that women are SAFE drivers. ikutkan statistik, men are prone to have or in accidents two times more in risk than women. i've seen many guys yang drive tu memang tak sah kalau tak laju, walaupun just nak pergi kedai depan corner rumah dorang jek (ehee oke2 tu tipu, but seriously!)
everytime i was driving on the road, especially on the highways, memang tak sah kalau takde kereta yang suka nak potong-potong kereta lain kan, lagi-lagi bila kereta tu dipandu oleh guys. i always drive on the most right side, because aku suka bawak cautiously laju jugak. but at that time, highway tengah pack gila and it was bumper-to-bumper traffic jam. then there was this car, suka-suka hati nak potong kereta lain dalam tengah jam gila tu, and guess who?? yeah u know who kan :P
in my opinion, sometimes men ni cannot resist it when there is actually a female driver cut him off the road. and ehem2 sory to say la, aku rasa sebab ego. kadang-kadang tu bila aku potong kereta dia, sebab dia slow mellow sangat, then tiba-tiba dia potong aku balik, boleh pulak nak drive laju. haha whatever~
the point is, women are better drivers yeahhh!!
haha kidding.
bagi aku, tak kisah la laki ke perempuan ke, asalkan kita tahu proper manners on the road and while driving, accidents rate on the road pun boleh reduce. my lecturer pun agrees that Malaysians are most uncivilised when it comes to driving. true though. buktinya, accident rates meningkat every year, especially on the festive season. pelik jugak, crime rates menurun sikit, tapi accident rates naik pulak. tak percaya, baca jugak la article aku bagi kat atas tu, baca tau :P
so to conclude, kita sama-sama perlu sedar dan tanamkan semangat bertolak-ansur, bukan sahaja tika memandu, tapi juga dalam semua hal. untuk keselamatan bersama, kita kena ketepikan sikap negatif tika memandu dan lebih bersabar :)) and my babbling kat atas nih, sekadar gurauan tapi juga sebagai peringatan untuk semua :) peace out y'all!
